Wishing...
I had just a few more days off.
I could wear white.
And dresses too
Community gardening and writing could be my job.
I could close my eyes and when I opened them my house would be clean from top to bottom.
I had already gone on my weekly run.

Contemplating...
Making a meal plan for the week.
Making an effort to get my real food/urban sustainability blog going.
Putting more photos up.
Going to yoga at Grace Cathedral.

Loving...
That I watched my local Perigrine Falcon eggs hatch live here.

Journey begins with a 5:30 N train...there are a LOT of people who go to work at 5:30....who knew. the sunrise over the east bay hills was unbeatable.

Bob Hope airport in beautiful Burbank

Latest Good Movies...

An ode to the beauty of SF as a place and the ugliness of a history of gentrification. About identity, intimacy, and a one night stand brought into the daylight.

A must see. The story of hope in the face of unknowable tragedy. Follows the story of the Lost Boys of Sudan from their devastating desert walk to refugee camps to building a new life in America. The boys turned to men spoke with such certainty, with such directness -- makes you think about how you live and walk in the world in a whole new way. Brings into focus the loss of community in our country and the relentless cycle of work, work, work, we dedicate our lives to here. There is something more...watch this movie and you may find your something more.

It's really all about the compost. Check out this compost story that made the cover of the SF Chron yesterday.
