floating.
not here. not there. not really sure where.
feeling as if i've loved and grieved, grieved and loved enough to fill a lifetime
knowing i have so much more to give
to love
to lose
and begin over again.
finding the edges of aloneness and breathing deep. finding the edges the depths
finding the spaces the nooks and the crannies i used to fill with him. all mine now.
finding my feet again.
remembering that i just don't fit.
remembering that it is okay.
stretching now. high and low.
so low.
so high.
stretching too far and not enough.
but i'm stretching.
i'm ready for what's next. finally. i'm so fucking ready.
ready for a summer of fun. a summer of sun.

A weekend Inspired by...
Serena Mitnick Miller's watercolors. See them now at Park Life.
Leah Rosenberg at 18 reasons. An example of a daily meditative art practice that the artist used to get through a big life transition. Each day she painted a pair--one striped, one quote from horoscopes her mom sent her from her hometown paper.
A night of magical music at Blue Six -- such an intimate venue for such big sounds. Little Wings played an amazingly ridiculous two hour set.
My first harvest at my new community garden plot--photos to come.
Feeling the page turning & I can't wait for this new chapter to begin.

Not to be missed...
Clare Rojas. Texture, color, substance. She is inspiring. If you're in the Bay go check out this amazing exhibit at the MOCFA. Epic to hear her play guitar completely surrounded by her artwork.
