catching up continues: first stop, Venice Beach

body builders on the boardwalk are for real, well-combed big sand beaches, delicious home cooked meals and Pliny's with friends both old and new. So thankful for the hospitality that allowed a break and a breath.

Perhaps most interesting about this part of our trip was leaving of the SF doomsday Google bubble only to realize that the Google bubble has been making big changes in Venice too. Tech/the innovation economy is the west coast game changer. so interested to see how this all plays out and where/how my story will be a part of it.

01/15 one storage unit 5x8 and one gertrude the golf, both filled to the gills. such a hard push to whiddle it all down, to say all the "see you laters", to leave the bikes behind. life on the road. ready set, go! South!
