Dear Yosemite. I love you.Thank you for sharing your endless epic views and waterfalls, your mirror lakes and mighty rivers, and your beautiful moss.
can you name this flower?
My camera stayed uncharacteristically packed away for much of this trip...I wanted to experience it fully.
Missing from these photos: good people around the campfire, the goodness of my first s'more, laying lizardly on the sun soaked granite rocks atop Yosemite Falls (with sounds of fellow hikers on their cell phones).
But most of all, I fell in love with the sound of a good winter in Yosemite, the all encompassing roar that begins so softly with the snow's melt and becomes big booming rainbow inducing waterfalls.

Figured out that the flower is from a dogwood tree!
