The magic of a Missouri spring
the first green of spring--nothing like it. such bright greens showing off after months of waiting.
mushroom hunting, bike riding and creek crossing.
dogwood magic, trees that catch the light just. right.
limestone bluffs, big waters. singing frogs, and red cardinals.
bush wackin, hammock chillin, bean plantin, and hot tub healin.
epic meals of garden goodness--from spinach that made it through the snow to jars of salsas and hot sauce from summer's bounty and don't forget the four egg days.
fields readied for growing fuel. mega churches.com. rural towns fading away. some rising up.
somehow you can feel it--it's Mark Twain country.
