a photo and blogging conundrum

blogger interface and design just isn't doing it for me anymore....unsure which way to go. I also have lots and lots, too many really, of colorado adventuring photos to comb through for posting! It would be much more fun if I liked where I was posting more....do I go tumblr? what else is there where I can write a bit and show photos easily? any ideas welcome!

Times are hard right now so I know we all need cash to make it in this city. I'm 27 years of age and I have made it here by paying my bills on time and staying in school.
